Scott Krauchunas, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to pursuing optometry, he earned a Ph.D. in Physiological Psychology from Kent State University.
Dr. Krauchunas has been providing patient care at InFocus Eyecare since 2005. Before beginning his career in optometry, he served as an Associate Professor at St. Anselm College, where he taught general psychology, health psychology, physiological psychology, sensation and perception, and experimental design.
Dr. Krauchunas provides comprehensive eye care, including routine eye examinations, contact lens fittings, glaucoma monitoring and treatment, diabetes monitoring, macular degeneration monitoring and treatment, pediatric eye care, vision therapy, sports vision training, and concussion management. He is a founding member of the A-Team, a collaborative group of vision care professionals that has worked with organizations including the LPGA, NASCAR, the Miami Dolphins, IMG Academy, U.S. Volleyball, and Major League Soccer referees.
In 2015, Dr. Krauchunas was appointed by the Governor to serve on the New Hampshire Board of Optometry. In 2016, he began working with a Major League Baseball team to provide sports vision assessments and baseline concussion protocols. He is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while utilizing the latest research and technology to help patients achieve their best possible vision and eye health.
